Şirvanşahlar Palace is the palace built in the 15th century during the reign of Ibrahim Halilullah, the king of the Shirvanshah dynasty. The city of Baku is located in the old city part of the city behind the city walls called City. The Şirvanşahlar Palace is considered one of the most magnificent architectural works of the near east. In 2000, it was taken by UNESCO on the list of world cultural heritage along with the Inward City Region and the Kız Kalesi in Baku. [2]

The palace has been operating as a museum since 1964.
