Olavinlinna (Finland)

Olavinlinna (Swedish: Olofsborg, “Olaf Castle”) is a three-tower castle in Savonlinna, Finland. The castle was built in the 15th century. The castle is the northernmost medieval castle that still stands today. [1]

The fortress is located on a hill in the Kyrönsalmi gorge, which connects the Haukivesi and Pihlajavesi lakes.
