Mákos guba (Hungary)
700 ml milk
200 gr poppy seed (crushed)
150 gr powdered sugar (instead of honey available)
2 pack vanilla sugar
Lemon bark (grated)
Vanilla sauce (for service – by request)
2 egg yolks
300 ml milk
1 packet vanilla sugar
2 + 3 tablespoon sugar
1 sweet spoon flour
We slice the moon cake and dry it a little bit beforehand in the oven-free oven to 180 degrees. We heat the milk by mixing with sugar half and vanilla sugar. We put the strawberry in a deep bowl and pour hot milk on it. We stir the excess of the bulge by mixing well.
In another bowl we mix crushed poppy seeds with spices, remaining sugar, grated lemon peel and raisins. We mix this mixture on your croissant. A little orange jam can also be added. We are cooking 10-15 minutes on the greasy tepside.
For the sauce, we bake egg yolks with 2 tablespoons of sugar. Add the flour and mix it with a little cold milk until no lumps remain. We boil the remaining milk with 3 tablespoons sugar and vanilla sugar. We slowly pour the egg mixture into the medium heat and bake it until the consistency.
The meal can be served on top of vanilla sauce or with a little powdered sugar.
